CUB SCOUTS
Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged 8 to 10 ½ and meet on a Wednesday night from 7:00pm until 8:30pm. The Cub pack is split into three smaller groups called Sixes, which each have a Sixer and a Seconder who are usually older, more experienced Cubs. There are a number of leaders who help run the Cub meetings, including Akela, Kar, Bagheera and Eagle which are names adapted from the Jungle Book story.
There are loads of different things you can do as a Cub Scout, many of which will lead to you receiving a badge which are worn on your uniform. These activities include playing games, learning new skills, making new friends and generally having fun. The Cubs are always up to something interesting and exciting!
Cubs wear a green sweatshirt, with navy blue activity trousers and a group neckerchief. They all wear badges which show what group, district and county they belong to, as well as badges that show what activities they have done while being a Cub Scout.
