BEAVER SCOUTS
Beaver Scouts are boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years old and meet on a Wednesday night from 6:15pm until 7:15pm. The Beaver colony is usually split into smaller groups called lodges. There are a number of leaders who help run the Beaver meetings, including parent helpers.
There are loads of different things you can do as a Beaver Scout, many of which will lead to you receiving a badge which are worn on your uniform. These activities include playing games, learning new skills, making new friends and generally having fun. Beavers have a brilliant time at their meetings, and it is the best place to meet new people. When a Beaver is 8 years old, they move onto the next section, the Cubs.
Beavers wear a turquoise sweatshirt, with navy blue activity trousers and a group neckerchief. They all wear badges which show what group, district and county they belong to, as well as badges that show what activities they have done while being a Beaver Scout.
